Better technology decisions, then the software to match

We start with the business problem, work out what should be built, and then build it with senior engineers.

We build for teams in health insurance, cybersecurity, financial services, applied AI and enterprise software.

How we think

Business before technology. Diagnosis before prescription.

Software should create leverage for the business — not complexity the business has to carry. We believe engineering decisions should be driven by outcomes, evidence, and the realities of the systems already in place.

That means reusing what works, challenging unnecessary complexity, protecting critical operations while change is underway, and choosing architecture that fits the problem rather than the trend. We recommend the smallest responsible change that can create meaningful progress, then engineer it so the business can own, operate, and evolve it.

Three stone plinths in a sunlit courtyard. On the left, a plinth marked Business Context carries six blocks: customers and users, goals and growth, processes and workflows, market opportunities, challenges and constraints, and existing investments. Circuit traces run from them to the centre plinth, marked Diagnose, where a glass lens lists understand, analyze, identify, and prioritize. More traces run on to the right plinth, marked Right Technology, whose six blocks read build, buy, integrate, refactor, replace, and scale. Engraved on the wall behind: better decisions build stronger businesses.

Five principles we do not trade away

Whatever the engagement, these decide how we diagnose the problem, where we make trade-offs, and how we protect what is already running while the change happens.

  1. 01

    Context

    Business before technology

Technology is a means to an outcome. We establish what should improve for the business before deciding what should be built.

Two low platforms in a bright room, joined by a short bridge. The near one carries a target with an arrow in the centre, three small figures, a rising bar chart and stacks of coins; the far one carries a stack of cubes marked cloud, database, code, settings and network.
  2. 02

    Diagnosis

    Diagnosis before prescription

A request describes what someone believes the solution should be. We investigate the underlying constraint before accepting that assumption.

A stack of written requests feeds along glowing lines into a magnifying glass held over a panel of system components, where one node is picked out in red beside a warning triangle. Dashed lines leave the far side and arrive at a small stack of cubes marked settings, cloud, code, database and analytics.
  3. 03

    Reuse

    Reuse what works

Existing systems carry investment, knowledge and operating history. We keep what remains useful and spend effort where change creates value.

Existing parts on the left — a server, a laptop, folders of documents and a gear — stay where they are and connect by cable into a glass case holding a core of cubes. Dashed lines leave the other side of the case for a cloud, an analytics dashboard, a network diagram and a phone.
  4. 04

    Measure

Choose the right level of complexity

More sophisticated architecture is not automatically better architecture. We choose the simplest approach that responsibly meets today's requirements.

Four builds in a row, each more elaborate than the last. The first two — a pair of plain blocks, then a small arrangement of cubes on a lit platform — are marked with ticks. The third and fourth, dense lattices of cubes and rods, are marked with crosses.
  5. 05

    Continuity

Protect the business you have while planning the one you want

Transformation should not create unnecessary operational risk. We plan for staged transition and for recovering when assumptions turn out to be wrong.

An older estate of servers and databases on one platform, joined by a bridge to a newer one standing under a cloud. The bridge carries a shield and three checkpoints — metrics, settings, approval — and a dashed line loops back from a server marked with a warning triangle to the platform the traffic came from.

Industries we work with

Engineering shaped by the realities of your industry.

Different industries carry different operational constraints, customer expectations, integration challenges, and levels of risk. We bring the engineering depth to understand that context first, then design technology around what the business actually needs.

A banking hall desk where a laptop shows an account dashboard with a running balance, recent transactions and a monthly activity chart, a phone beside it

Fintech & BFSI

Secure, reliable systems for businesses built on trust.

We build and modernize financial platforms, workflows, integrations, and customer-facing applications where reliability, data integrity, auditability, security, and performance are fundamental to the business.

A clinician talking with a patient at the bedside while a monitor shows that patient's record - vitals, scans and recent reports - with the same case open on a phone

Healthcare

Technology that connects complex care and operational workflows.

We help build digital healthcare platforms, operational workflows, integrations, and data-driven applications designed around reliability, secure information handling, usability, and the realities of interconnected healthcare systems.

EdTech & eLearning

Learning platforms designed around engagement and scale.

From learner journeys and course delivery to assessments, administration, analytics, and integrations, we develop education platforms that make learning experiences easier to operate, evolve, and scale.

Food & Travel

Digital experiences that keep customers and operations moving.

We build customer journeys and operational platforms around ordering, booking, marketplaces, partner integrations, administration, and real-time workflows where experience and operational efficiency need to work together.

A gym floor with a phone showing the day's activity - steps against a goal, calories, distance and heart rate - beside a watch tracking a run in progress

Fitness

Digital products designed to turn engagement into progress.

We create fitness platforms supporting member experiences, scheduling, subscriptions, progress tracking, coaching workflows, administration, and integrations, with usability and continued engagement at the centre.

HRMS

Workforce systems built around how organisations actually operate.

We build and improve workforce platforms spanning recruitment, onboarding, employee management, attendance, operational workflows, reporting, and integrations, reducing friction across the employee lifecycle.

How we work

Six stages. One continuous path from business intent to product growth.

Every engagement follows a deliberate software delivery process: understand the problem, design the right system, build in working increments, validate thoroughly, launch safely, and keep improving after release.

  1. Discover

Start with the business, not the backlog.

We begin with the business outcome, users, current systems, constraints, risks, and priorities. Together, we define what needs to change, what should be built, and the clearest path from idea to delivery.

  2. Design

    Turn intent into clear decisions.

We translate the agreed direction into user journeys, system architecture, integrations, technical decisions, and delivery-ready specifications — balancing usability, scalability, maintainability, risk, and cost.

  3. Develop

Make progress visible in working software.

We build in prioritized increments using focused delivery cycles, continuous integration, testing, code reviews, and regular demonstrations so progress stays visible and working software is delivered throughout the engagement.

  4. Validate

Prove it before production depends on it.

We validate functionality, integrations, performance, security, resilience, and critical user journeys against agreed acceptance criteria, then resolve issues that could compromise reliability or production readiness.

  5. Launch

    Go live without losing control.

We plan and execute the production release, verify environments and integrations, complete documentation and operational handover, and confirm the system is stable and ready for real-world use.

  6. Evolve

    Keep improving after the release.

After launch, we monitor real-world performance, support operations, address emerging needs, and prioritize improvements using business priorities, user feedback, and product evidence rather than change for its own sake.

What clients say afterwards

Most of it is about understanding the problem before proposing the build.

  • “CipherCru Innovation brings a strong combination of technical expertise and practical business thinking. Their team takes the time to understand the actual problem before recommending a solution, which makes working with them feel more like a technology partnership than a typical vendor engagement. They have been dependable, responsive, and focused on delivering solutions that create real business value.”
